Music for Seniors

Music for Seniors is a program founded by Skylor Sun,a member of Palos Verdes Regional Symphony Orchestra, after realizing the loneliness senior citizens endured during the pandemic. He reached out to all the local senior homes and offered free live music performed by young musicians from PVRSO. Currently, the group performs at Merrill Gardens in Rolling Hills Estates on the third Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. The program brings immense joy to the seniors and motivates the young musicians to practice, perform before a live audience and earn five volunteer hours for each musical piece. Detailed sign-up information will be sent out by Schola Tsai via email every month.
